Dr. Arslan, a computer science teacher, completed his PhD in Educational Leadership programme at Hacettepe University. His doctoral thesis focused on STEM policies in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In 2023, Dr. Arslan was selected as the world winner in the Environmental Protection and Moral Leadership category in the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World programme, one of the most prestigious awarding programmes in the world, by presenting a teaching model integrating coding teaching and climate education with an interdisciplinary approach. Arslan is winner of the Global Teacher Award, winner of the UNESCO and ETF Green Skills Awards, and the winner of the Cambridge University Press Dedicated Teacher Award in Europe. Arslan focuses on developing girls’ coding skills and contributing to global goals through STEM approach and technology. Arslan, who has received numerous international awards with his students, continues to teach with great passion.
